Farewell emdash, it is time to move on

It pains me to write these words, knowing that this might very well be the last time that I get to to express my deepest emotions constilled into such a simple form.

For so many years, you stood by my side when things were hard and I struggled with breaking things apart.

And while my love has not faded, I no longer dare being seen with you in public — the humilation, the twisted jokes and purely evil comments have made me a coward.
